Letters and blueberry muffins

I am EXHAUSTED! It is 8:30 p.m. and I could fall asleep right now. Last night, I decided to go to bed at 11. Well, I read at 11 until 11:40 or so....Still, I could NOT manage to fall asleep. I hate thinking you guys! But yeah, I'm starting to read again! I found a Luanne Rice book at Goodwill so I'm into that right now.

Yes, I went to Goodwill again. Ha. I actually took all my trash sacks this time. I took three large sacks full of clothes. Crazy? Yes. And I only managed to buy two shirts, Battle of the Sexes board game, and the book. YAY! I'm pumped to play this game. I'm seeing a board game night in the future. :)

I also went to Kohls and found two shirts on sale. New clothes make me happy. And I only spent $18 altogether on four shirts. Can you beat that? These clothes are pretty cute!

I've been filling out college stuff today...that's not fun. I also finally wrote my letter to Nan. I put stuff off soooo bad.

Blueberry muffins were for supper. I ate two and have four saved away in a ziplock bag to snack on later. Later meaning now.

Always something.

I'm wishing that there could be a time in my life where I wasn't worrying about something. I mean, I have my good days where I feel like I have no troubles but there's ALWAYS something in the back of my mind that's stressing me out or worrying or bothering me.

Just a few days ago it felt like my health was just deteriorating! Something kept coming up! I already have the awful rashes, but then my heart starting hurting again. I finally went to the doctor for the rashes and he told me it was some sort of eczema. So I now have pills to take and cream to rub in to the skin. An hour after visiting the doctor I got a KILLER sore throat. I open up my mouth and there's this huge white thing on one of my tonsils. OF course, this freaks me out because I am a big baby and health stuff scares me. Once I get home I immediately google it and discover it's called a tonsil stone....ewww..doesn't that just make you want to gag?

So I've been worrying about that, my heart, the rashes, being sore, and all over sorts of issues. I often wonder why God couldn't just make our bodies perfect..Blah.

But finally, there is light. Pretty sure I swallowed the tonsil stone this morning. Disgusting? Yes...and I totally should not have shared that with you guys. My rashes are looking better as well. Yay.

But there's still things hanging over my head. I finally set up my appointment to get my wisdom teeth removed. June 28th is the big day. So I will be dreading that.....Man...I get nervous for EVERYTHING.

I also have been needing to write a letter to Nan. OH and I'm totally writing a letter to the editor of Seventeen magazine. In this issue she said that she'd respond to every girl who sends her an old fashioned letter. Yeah, I'm pretty lame huh? haha.

So many clothes, so little destination?

Okay, so I'm in my room going through my closet and I notice that I have at least ten shirts that I have not worn. I never, ever thought I would be one of those girls who buys a shirt, leaves the price tag on it, hangs in up in her closet and forgets all about it. I am that girl.

I'm not the type that goes out and buys like a shirt for $30 or anything. I only buy stuff when it's on sale. And if I do pay more than ten dollars on a shirt I feel guilty the rest of the day!

But! I do buy shirts with a certain location or occasion in mind...Which I'm recently learning that these places or times in my head do not exist. For example, I'm in the dressing room and I try on a certain shirt and I think to myself, "Wow, this would be a cute date shirt." So I totally buy it because I'm like hot date shirt! Then I get home, hang it up, and forget about it. I soon remember that I don't go on dates because I'm not into dating or something at the moment.....

The bottom line is that I buy clothes for things that only exist in my imagination. All I know is that I need to just start wearing these clothes this summer instead of thinking, "Oh, I'm saving that for a special occasion." :)

Lovin' Life

You know those days where you're just happy to be alive? Yeah, I'm having one of those. It could be for a multiple number of different reasons. Perhaps because today was my first day off in forever. Or maybe because the sun was out shining. Today was just a good, good day.

We went to Patrick's track meet and that was fun times. Mom, Dylan and I all rode up with Cathy and Christa. That was quite the experience. It was pretty hot outside but I didn't whine too much, even wearing my long sleeved shirt. We went and ate at Red Robin and Christa and I cleared our plates. We went shopping and I bought a new shirt. We shared good talks and had some good laughs.

Later tonight Dylan and I played frisbee. Good times indeed. I need a professional to teach me how to throw correctly though. Haha. I'm horrible and I'm pretty sure I used to be good.

Another fantastic thing about today was that my rashes are finally clearing up. Either the long shirt helped or a day away from Pizza Hut did the trick!

Dylan and I are in the process of putting together a gang for the summer. We need to get a bunch of friends that mesh well together but it's really not working so far.

Hot, Hot, Hot

Tomorrow is my first day off of work in YEARS. Okay, more like days but it sure feels like years. I am spending the day at a track meet....yeah, outside in the hot, hot heat. I thought about wearing my new tank...

But my rashes are disturbing and the heat seems to bring them out even worse. So I will be looking like an idiot wearing a long sleeved shirt. I actually tried setting up a doctor's appointment today but they couldn't get me in. She told me the next day would be Tuesday. Well, great, I might be dead by then.

Today I cleaned the house. I always end up getting in these cleaning moods and just start cleaning everything. Then I wonder why the rest of my family isn't in these moods....and they make me mad because they aren't cleaning! Ha. I'm weird!

Mom, Christa, Cathy, and I all went to see Letters to Juliet a few days ago. AWESOME movie. I loved it.

What else did I do today, besides working and cleaning? Dylan and I went through some stuff in his room for a few hours. We ended up playing Guess Who for a good half hour or so. We even thought about making our own version with our friends. OH, I also COLORED today! I need a good coloring partner!

And I thought I was sensitive...

I am a sensitive girl, who takes everything to heart and gets hurt very easily.

My skin is no different.

I've had sensitive skin that gets irritated easily since well, practically forever. When I was younger I'd get rashes in the creases of my legs and elbows. They'd itch for days and were disgusting to look at. My mom has told me that even a tiny lady bug could crawl across my arm and it would end up leaving a red trail I can barely climb on haybales or play in the wheat without my skin breaking out into all sorts of tiny bumps. My skin just reacts to EVERYTHING.

Well, ever since Pizza Hut I have been having this rash. Pretty sure it's from the soap and washing dishes. It started out as just a tiny little ring shaped on my left wrist. I joked to my friends about having ringworm. Just recently it's broke out into this:

Left Arm:

Right Arm:

It's disgusting, I know this.

And, my mom has bought me all sorts of products.

I started off with the one on the right. Didn't help. Then mom bought me the huge bottle and it made it worse I think. So now I'm sticking with the last tube and taking some Benadryl for the itching. That's what the local pharmacist told us to do. Yeah, mom made me go to the Wal-Mart pharmacist and see what he said. Awkward.

I should probably just go to the doctor.

Busy, busy little ol' me

Man! Why do I not update?! I think I have enough time to get on here and write, especially when I LIKE writing. Things have been busy though. So let me fill you in with what's been going on because I know everyone cares.

A lot of the time was spent getting ready for graduation. Cleaning the house is always a blasty blast. Graduation went well. A lot of people showed up that I was surprised but VERY happy to see. Although Nan and Pop couldn't make it because Nan was very sick. That kind of destroyed me. She ended up going to the hospital later in the week but is home now and I'm pretty sure doing better. I didn't cry at graduation either which was great.

After graduation, we had the reception at our house which went well. I was in an extremely social mood talking to everyone. It was good to catch up with people. I even played with my second cousin and my stepsister's little boy for a bit. Yeah, I was a different person that day! After Dyl's party mom and I headed Christa and Patrick's reception. I got out their awesome gifts and letters to give them and I think they appreciated those. Then a bunch of us went bowling that night from 9-12. It was a great night.

I've been going to a bunch of Patrick's track meets with my family and his family. Those have been fun adventures. This last one was like three hours away or so it seemed. But Patrick's mom ran into a good friend and we toured her house. It was HUGE and she even invited us to the lake. We're so going.

Also, a friend of mine recently got married so I went to that. Jaclyn and I were cake servers and it was hilarious. I don't think we did a very good job but we were trying our hardest. They even played cupid shuffle so Nicole, Ginny, Jaclyn, and I all got out and did it. It was good to see everyone. I hadn't seen Jaclyn since last semester!

So summer is just beginning and I already have a list of things to do which involve traveling to go see a TON of people. This might be hard with a job but I'm determined to make it happen. Christa and I even started a list of things we want to do this summer.

It really doesn't feel like summer yet but I'm sure it will eventually. I love the laziness of summer. Just sleeping in, relaxing, being lazy, eating cereal whenever you want, calling up whoever you want and just doing something.

I'm determined to make this the best summer ever before all the people I love dearly all leave and go in their separate directions.

P.S. Sorry so long. I'll start updating daily again. Perhaps.

I have the best brother

Dylan returned home from Florida last night and brought me home a tunic. It's pretty adorable. I'm still trying to figure out how to wear it though because I don't live in Florida. People just run around in bikinis and long shirts or short dresses. Where I live, that is frowned upon.

Dylan said he was probably still in the Florida mindset when he bought it for me. I suppose I can wear it to the beach, if there were any beaches around here. Maybe I can wear it to the lake, since I go there all the time! Haha! Either way, I have to wear something under it. I cannot wear it alone because if I were to bend over, it wouldn't be a pretty sight. Still, I'm going to rock it somehow. He informed me that it was my late Christmas gift and early Birthday present. He told me, "It wasn't cheap!"

Tell me what you think? Oh and don't mind my not made up face and awful hair.

See, there's a cute belt that came with it too!

Oh I do have shorts under it. Skimpy ones because that's just who I am.
Here's a close up shot.

Stormy, scary weather

I'm sitting on my butt watching Dancing with the Stars alone. Man, I live some exciting life. Mom and James headed out to check out some damage that was done around the area due to a tornado. I didn't want to join them in that. I texted mom and told her to bring me home some cookies and cream or chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. :)

Last Wednesday, Mom, Dylan, and I went to visit Jocelyn in the hospital after her surgery. It was pretty intense. She couldn't really respond to me so I basically did all of the talking which was like me talking nonstop. I'm not much of a talker so I surprised myself by how I did this. It was hard to see Jocelyn in this state but she is getting better. I could tell that she was happy to see me and that she could hear me because she would nod and make a few facial expressions.

Dylan has been in Florida for the past four days so the house has been super lame and boring. He gets home tonight though. Christa and I went shopping this weekend and I finally got all of my graduation gifts together. That's a big relief.

OHHHH! Also, just two nights ago or so I had two of my good friends surprise me and show up at my house. I hadn't seen them in a while so that was awesome! It totally made my night.

I've been craving something or someone sweet lately. These are the times when you need a boyfriend, when the weather is all scary and tornado-like. Just someone to cuddle up with and protect you! OR just someone who is concerned about you....

Poor people have the most fun.

"I am very a indecisive person. My life is a series of continuous pro/con lists." Haha. I found this quote last night and it is soooo me. I'm always weighing the options, over thinking and over analyzing EVERYTHING. I make lists as well, even pro and con lists. :)

So I'm slowly recently that I cannot find a boy that doesn't annoy me after so long. Like I'll find someone interesting to talk to in the beginning but after awhile I just find myself getting annoyed with him. So I'm thinking that it's not the boys with the problem, it's me! Don't get me wrong, I have my good guys friends that really don't get on my nerves along with my brother so that's good. Maybe I should just date one of them! Geez.

I finally got Jocelyn's presents all together to take over to her tomorrow or Thursday night! Yay! I decorated picture frames....:)

I also got started on Christa's graduation present so...I'm doing okay with everyone!

I've been running every night trying to build up those calves and get that beach bod! Haha...I need to do some things by a lake like go tubing or something. This summer is sure to be a good one. Though I need to save money. I have a feeling that this summer is going to include lots of redbox movies and cheap mexican food. Haha. Gotta love it.
